Fiber Collimators offer a cost effective means to provide collimated output-light from a fiber. Fiber collimators offered are specified for low power (300 mW) and high-power (3W to 20 W) performance. Higher power models have flexible output-beam diameters (between 0.4 mm and 0.9 mm) and custom designs are available. All models have low PDL, high return loss and high transmission.
All parts are fully characterized to ensure specification compliance and are Telcordia qualified.
If you do not see a fiber collimator from the standard configurations that meets your needs, we welcome the opportunity to review your desired specification and quote a custom collimator. Specialty fibers with various core sizes, core NA values and cladding sizes can be readily accommodated.
